Critiques
-The shadow of the fox, it shouldn't be green, should be a shade of black, because the true shadows (from the head into the chest for example) is that way, it doesn't have that green tone, so it makes it look wierd, make it a little orange so that it takes a bit of the skin, it shouldn't be 100% black, lower the shadow density to make it behave like the other shadows.
-The blur level of the fox doesn't match the hand's blurriness. Blur it a little more and give it some more noise so that it blends better with the hand.
-Remove a little bit of green from the fox and darken a bit the highlights.
-Remove the shadow from the tip of the thumb, it's in front of the fox, not below it.
-Try adding a bit of hair detail on the fox's back, right now it seems like you cut a bit of detail there (photoshop's magic wand?)
-Add some shadow projection from the fingers to the fox.
-Play a little more with the overall light and shadow (more dark areas in the right would help)
It's a good work and good idea, i think those details could help in making it more believable.
